BANGKOK, 2 June 2015 – The Ministry of Commerce is reminding all juristic persons to submit their financial statement by today to avoid legal prosecution and detailed inspection of accounting practice.
Department of Business Development director-general Pongpun Gearaviriyapun said on Monday that all juristic persons whose fiscal year ended on December 31, 2014 must submit their financial statement by today (June 2). Any juristic entity that fails to submit its statement on time will be prosecuted, and a message will be added to the respective entity’s juristic person certificate to warn business partners and investors of the credibility of the business. A detailed audit of the juristic person’s account would also be made.
Miss Pongpun added that financial statements may be submitted through the postal service, directly at the Department of Business Development or its branches nationwide, or electronically via the website of the Department of Business Development.
She noted there were some 600,000 juristic persons in operation in Thailand.
