BANGKOK, Thailand – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society Prasert Chantararuangtong officially opened the Bitkub Summit 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on October 19, reaffirming the government’s commitment to positioning Thailand as a regional financial hub. The event aims to promote the digital economy, enhance data security, and build investor confidence.

Under the theme “Gateway to the Future: Unlocking Technology and Investment for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” the Bitkub Summit 2024 is one of the year’s most significant technology and investment conferences, gathering business leaders, investors, and top tech innovators. Discussions focus on critical topics such as business trends for 2025, cutting-edge innovations, and future investment opportunities. The summit also provides a platform for global business leaders to connect with Thai entrepreneurs and investors, fostering opportunities in the digital age.

Prasert highlighted the government’s goal of making Thailand a financial center in the region by supporting the digital economy, which will create new revenue streams for the country. Key priorities include developing new tools and infrastructure to enhance national competitiveness, ensuring data security for investors, and advancing the development of the country’s digital workforce. The government has initiated major projects to attract large-scale investments and is committed to further supporting private sector investments to stimulate the digital economy. This includes revising and drafting new legislation to facilitate investors and promote future technologies.



The Bitkub Summit serves as a crucial platform for domestic and international entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and drive change in Thailand’s digital investment landscape, inspiring the next generation of business leaders and contributing to the country’s economic growth.
