BANGKOK, Thailand – The public has warmly welcomed the launch of the three-digit lottery pilot program, also known as the N3 lottery, with sales limited to designated outlets. The Government Lottery Office (GLO) reminded buyers that tickets for this lottery are only available at official “Lottery 80” outlets, which can be easily located through the Pao Tang mobile application.
GLO officials visited several official outlets in Chiang Rai Province’s capital district on the first day of the pilot sale. This trial run, which covers the November 1st draw, began sales on October 17th.
The launch of the N3 lottery, in its closed test phase, saw lively activity. The GLO is offering up to 5 million tickets per draw during this six-month pilot period. Interested buyers can locate participating outlets using the “three-digit lottery outlet finder” feature on the Pao Tang app, with each ticket priced at 20 baht. Tickets are available exclusively for digital purchase through the app.
During the test phase, ticket sales are limited to the 647 “Lottery 80” outlets nationwide that volunteered for the project. Early reports suggest strong cooperation from many outlets.
The N3 lottery is a new product, and prize amounts vary based on the number of winners for each draw. Buyers can check prize amounts for each category through the check popular numbers and prizes feature on the Pao Tang app, which displays the number of buyers and prize amounts for all numbers from 000 to 999 in real-time, helping buyers make informed decisions.
The results of the three-digit lottery are based on the six-digit government lottery draws, held twice a month on the 1st and 16th. Prizes for the “three straight” and “three mixed” digits are derived from the last three digits of the first prize. The two-digit prize comes from the last two digits, while a special prize is randomly drawn from the “three straight” winners. Winners will be notified via the Pao Tang app and can claim their prizes directly through the app. (NNT)
