Thai Foreign Ministry and regional embassies closely monitoring the situation in Tehran

According to MFA Spokesperson Nikorndej Balankura, the Thai Embassy in Tehran, in coordination with the Thai Association in Iran, has confirmed that no Thai nationals were impacted.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has confirmed that airstrikes were carried out on military targets in Iran early morning of Oct 26, impacting areas near Tehran and in the provinces of Khuzestan and Ilam. Iran’s air defense system successfully intercepted the strikes, minimizing the damage.

Following the airstrikes, Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization briefly suspended all flights, but normal operations resumed by 9:00 a.m. local time.



According to MFA Spokesperson Nikorndej Balankura, the Thai Embassy in Tehran, in coordination with the Thai Association in Iran, has confirmed that no Thai nationals were impacted. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and regional embassies are closely monitoring the situation.
