Chiang Mai officials join declaration against corruption

CHIANG MAI, 8 June 2015 – The governor of Chiang Mai Suriya Prasartbandit led a delegation of governmental agency heads and delegates of the civilian sector organizations today, to declare a unified statement against corrupt activities.

The declaration was carried out by the government offices in all provinces, as part of the national campaign to maximize authorities’ transparency.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha led the declaration speech for all the officials, to stand against the corruption on the national level, to raise anti-corruption awareness and to improve the nation’s transparency. Cooperation among all sectors will also be a directive in the eradication of corruption.

The governor of Chiang Mai and participating officials then signed in the anti-corruption agreement that prohibits bribing and fraudulent activities.
