BANGKOK, Thailand – The government, through the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, has launched the “5 Must Do 72 Must Try” campaign to boost domestic tourism in the year’s final months. The campaign introduces 72 special travel routes across Thailand, each offering unique experiences of the country’s rich diversity. An accompanying E-book, “5 Must Do in Thailand,” encourages Thai citizens to explore these routes and discover new aspects of their homeland.

To promote the campaign, five prominent Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) from various fields will create travel vlogs featuring their selected routes, each displaying their personal style. These vlogs are intended to spark interest in year-end travel and set a positive trend for continued tourism into the New Year, a critical period for Thailand’s tourism sector.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will focus on promoting themes of “Thai Charm” and “Must-Visit Cities” to attract both domestic and international travelers, with a target revenue growth of 7.5%. The campaign offers fresh perspectives on Thai destinations, encouraging exploration of the country’s unique culture and attractions.

According to Deputy Government Spokesperson Karom Polpornklang, the administration views tourism as one of the eight central pillars supporting the country’s economy, stimulating growth, and enhancing the quality of life for its citizens. (NNT)
