BANGKOK, Thailand –– Thailand’s pride, “Opal” Suchata Chuangsri, returned home on November 21 after earning the Third Runner-Up title at the 73rd Miss Universe 2024, held in Mexico. Greeted by a crowd of adoring fans at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Opal made her grand entrance in an elegant traditional Thai outfit, exuding grace and pride.
As she stepped out to meet the media, Opal enthusiastically shouted, “Thailand!”, receiving cheers from the crowd. Among the welcoming party was Antonia Porsild, Miss Universe 2023 First Runner-Up, who came to show her support.
Opal expressed her joy at being back home, saying, “I’m so happy to be back. I’ve missed Thai food so much!” She shared her pride in representing Thailand on the global stage and thanked fans for their overwhelming love and support throughout her journey.
