BANGKOK, Thailand – Plans to develop Koh Kood are underway to transform the island into a high-quality ecotourism destination, allowing it to connect to neighboring islands in Trat Province. The Government, in collaboration with local tourism operators and the local community, will improve infrastructure and accessibility for both residents and visitors, such as transportation, the land development, and the promotion of local guides.
