BANGKOK, Thailand – The Bangkok Air Quality Information Center reported that PM 2.5 levels across the city ranged from 12 to 30.9 micrograms per cubic meter, remaining below the safety standard of 37.5 micrograms per cubic meter as of 7:00 AM on November 26. The average PM 2.5 concentration for the entire city was measured at 18.9 micrograms per cubic meter, placing air quality in the “good” category.
This favorable air quality is considered healthy for respiratory health. The current weather conditions, including occasional rain and improved ventilation near the surface, are helping keep pollutant levels steady. However, forecasts suggest a gradual increase in particulate matter concentrations towards the end of the month.
For the period from November 26 to December 4, ventilation conditions are expected to vary between “weak” and “good,” with patchy cloud cover alternating with open skies. Morning fog is anticipated, along with a slight rise in temperatures.
