Called the Bristol Project Pinnacle, the all-new supercar is being created to celebrate the London-based car firm’s seventieth anniversary.
On sale this summer, the new car will cost less than $1.8m and be powered by a BMW engine.
Described by Bristol as being “a modern take on the best of British luxury craftsmanship” the Pinnacle has been “engineered to excite” and will be the first new Bristol to be built since production ceased in 2004.

The tie-up with Bristol and BMW goes all the way back to the 1930s. BMW engines powered some of its early cars including the 400 that was even featuring a BMW style double kidney grille.
The British car-maker has confirmed it is also working with a UK-based technology company Frazer-Nash Research, that takes its name with the former famous car-maker.
The last Bristol made was the million dollar 755 kW/1405 Nm Fighter T. Powered by a twin-turbocharged and intercooled 8.0 liter V10 engine, the Fighter T was limited to 360 km/h after engineers worried about how its tyres would cope at its alleged 423 km/h unrestricted top speed.
Bristol has also made aeroplanes which dragged the firm to the bankruptcy courts in the 1950s. Called the Bristol Brabazon, it was built in 1949 and was larger than a Boeing 747 and had eight engines – four pushing and four pulling. They even had to lengthen the runway to get it off the ground for its maiden flight. No airline wanted it and it was sold for spares in 1953 for 10,000 GBP. They threw in a second airframe as part of the deal!
