Police uncover illegal operations in RCA, Bangkok, detaining 7 individuals and seizing evidence of unauthorized health services.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Metropolitan Police, in collaboration with the Department of Health Service Support, raided an unlicensed Chinese-operated wellness center in the RCA area, offering various health services without proper permits, November 28.

During the operation, authorities apprehended seven individuals, including:

Ms. Ren Xuemei (42, Chinese national), charged with operating a health service establishment without a license.

Ms. Wen Chun (28, Chinese national), cashier, charged with working without a work permit.

Ms. Gao Juan (44, Chinese national), masseuse, charged with working without a work permit.
Four Thai Yai nationals (ages 18–20), employed as hair washers or cashiers, charged with illegal entry and working without permits.

Authorities confiscated 14 items, including promotional brochures, QR codes for payments, CCTV memory cards, massage service logs, and white gowns used for cosmetic procedures.

Ms. Ren Xuemei confessed, admitting she had not obtained any licenses. She stated that fierce competition in China led her to establish her business in Thailand, expecting higher profits. Additionally, she revealed that the “doctors” performing cosmetic injections were unqualified, and the medical attire was merely purchased.

The suspects, along with the seized items, were handed over to the Makkasan Police Station for further legal proceedings. (TNA)
