BANGKOK, Thailand – The Thai Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall across Southern Thailand from December 7 to 11, particularly in provinces from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. The National Water Resources Office has issued alerts for 12 provinces at risk of flash floods and landslides: Chumphon, Phang Nga, Phuket, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Satun, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat.
