On Tuesday, the Baht is expected to trade within the range of 33.80–34.20 per US dollar.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Kasikorn Research Center reports that the Thai Baht closed on December 16 at 34.03 baht per US dollar, strengthening from Friday’s close of 34.13. The recovery aligns with rising global gold prices and a lack of new momentum for the US dollar as markets await this week’s Federal Reserve meeting and dot plot announcement. Foreign investors sold Thai stocks and bonds worth 1,270.74 million baht and 1,463 million baht, respectively.

On Tuesday, the Baht is expected to trade within the range of 33.80–34.20 per US dollar, with markets closely watching foreign capital flows, the yuan’s movement, US retail and industrial production data for November, and decisions from the Fed and Thailand’s central bank.
