Meanwhile, rainfall in the southern region is decreasing, and Bangkok and its vicinity will experience cool mornings with slightly warmer daytime temperatures.
The 24-hour weather forecast indicates that the high-pressure system or cold air mass covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening. This will result in a slight temperature rise of 1-2 degrees Celsius across upper Thailand, although the mornings will remain cool. On mountain peaks and highlands, cold to very cold weather is expected. Residents are urged to stay cautious and protect their health as the weather changes.
In the southern region, the northeastern monsoon over the Gulf of Thailand and southern areas is gradually weakening, leading to reduced rainfall. However, heavy rain is still likely in some areas of the lower south. Residents in these areas should remain cautious of potential flash floods and runoff, particularly in hilly regions near waterways and low-lying areas.
Waves in the lower Gulf of Thailand remain strong, reaching heights of 2-3 meters, and exceeding 3 meters in stormy areas. Mariners in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea are advised to proceed with caution and avoid areas with thunderstorms. Small boats in the lower Gulf of Thailand are advised to stay ashore.
In Bangkok and its vicinity, cool mornings will prevail, with temperatures slightly rising throughout the day. The minimum temperature will range between 23-24 degrees Celsius, while the maximum will reach 30-32 degrees Celsius.
