Thailand schedules world-class events and festivals all year round

The country has targeted itself as a global festival hub by showcasing unique Thai cultural experiences.

BANGKOK, Thailand – In 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has scheduled the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025” to line up with numerous world-class events and festivals all year round. The country has targeted itself as a global festival hub by showcasing unique Thai cultural experiences.

The list of highlighted grand celebrations in 2025, listed in monthly order, is as follows:

– From January to February, Chinese New Year celebrations at Bangkok’s Yaowarat Road and other Thai destinations with large Chinese communities;

– From 28 February to 2 March, the 2025 MotoGP Thailand Grand Prix at the Chang International Circuit in Buri Ram Province;


– On 16-17 March, World Wai Kru Muaythai Ceremony in Ayutthaya;

– From 11 to 15 April, Maha Songkran World Water Festival, held nationwide;

– In May, Music and Mutelu Festival, northeastern music performances and spiritual activities, taking place in northeastern provinces;

– In June, Pride 2025 events taking place in various Thai destinations;

– From June to July, Amazing Thai Taste Festival around the country;



– From 5 to 11 July, Candle Festival in Ubon Ratchathani;

– From May to September, Thailand Festival Experience, a spectacular light illumination to promote four new landmarks in each region of Thailand;

– From November to December, Thailand Winter Festivals 2025, including Loy Krathong festival, Vijit Chaophraya, Bangkok Marathon, and Countdown 2026.
