Experience the beauty of Thai culture and art at the 11th Lantern Procession Festival at Khao Chi Chan on February 14-15.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Chonburi invites visitors to experience the “11th Lantern Procession Festival: Paying Homage to the Image of the Buddha, Preserving Thai Arts at Khao Chi Chan” from February 14-15. Held annually at the iconic Khao Chi Chan in Sattahip, this cultural celebration brings together the charm of traditional Thai art, performances, and the stunning lantern procession.



On February 14, the festival will kick off with a beautiful lantern procession, featuring a stunning display of lanterns and traditional Thai performances. The next day, February 15, the event continues with more captivating Thai cultural performances, including the grand performance of the “Khon Masked Dance”, a spectacular enactment of the Ramayana epic, portraying the Ten-headed Ravana and other scenes from the revered tale, starting at 5:00 PM.

The festivities will take place in front of the famous Khao Chi Chan Buddha Carving in Sattahip, Chonburi, organized by the Chonburi Tourism and Sports Office, inviting all to partake in the cultural celebration of faith, art, and tradition.
