Naklua residents are calling for action after two retailers rented out sidewalk space in front of their shops, profiting from encroachment on public property.

Residents said the store owners operating between Naklua Soi 14 and 16 are blocking the footpath, creating inconvenience and causing safety risks for pedestrians who have to walk on the street.

City hall has twice before worked with the army to evict vendors operating on public sidewalks in South Pattaya and Naklua. Locals are hoping to enlist them to solve their neighborhood problem.

Vendors in Naklua are once again encroaching on public footpaths, causing pedestrians to veer out into the street to get past, as can be seen all the way down the street.Vendors in Naklua are once again encroaching on public footpaths, causing pedestrians to veer out into the street to get past, as can be seen all the way down the street.
