BANGKOK, Thailand – A well-known gambling den in Don Mueang remains silent and inaccessible, with “Private Property – No Entry” signs posted. The establishment has reportedly been shut down for over 4 years, and is surrounded by surveillance cameras.
Upon investigation, reporters found that the front of the building is a brightly colored multi-story commercial property with company name signs and notices indicating its closure since March 16, 2020. All entry points have steel gates with warning signs strictly prohibiting access, and there were no signs of activity.
Surveillance cameras are installed around the building, on the structure itself and nearby utility poles, suggesting heightened security measures. While examining the area, reporters noticed a small group of individuals loitering near the entrance, claiming they were searching for a rental property.
Local residents stated that the venue had been closed for years, with many unaware that it had operated as a gambling den. However, some residents mentioned that the establishment had been in business for a long time, operating quietly without disturbances, attracting people of all ages. Some locals expressed a desire to move away from the area but cited financial constraints as a barrier. (TNA)
