BANGKOK, Thailand – A 32-year-old woman has been arrested for illegally selling e-cigarettes, admitting to running the business for about four years and earning a monthly profit of 1 million baht. Authorities have charged her with four offenses before handing her over to investigators at Chokchai Police Station for legal proceedings.

The Child and Women Protection Police raided a building in Ladprao Soi 87, in Khlong Chaokhun Sing, Wang Thonglang District, as well as a storefront on Ratchadaphisek Road. The suspect, identified as Ms. Nitcha, 32, was arrested along with 59 items of contraband, including e-cigarettes, cannabis vape pods, cannabis-infused jelly, psychedelic mushroom chocolates, and a firearm with ammunition.



During questioning, the suspect confessed that all seized items belonged to her and were sold via websites, Facebook, Instagram, and a physical store in the Ratchada area. She admitted to making substantial profits from the business over the past four years.

Authorities have pressed four charges against her before transferring her to Chokchai Police Station for further legal action. (TNA)

The suspect was arrested along with 59 items of contraband, including e-cigarettes, cannabis vape pods, cannabis-infused jelly, psychedelic mushroom chocolates, and a firearm with ammunition.

Authorities have also charged the suspect with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, as she did not have the required authorization.
