BANGKOK, Thailand – Education and empowerment take center stage as the “I Have a Dream” Youth Camp 2025 is set to take place on March 15, 2025, at Wat Thung Latya, Kanchanaburi. The initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Rattana Lao, founder of UNITE Thailand, aims to create a dynamic learning environment for young students, equipping them with critical skills to thrive in the 21st century.

The camp will welcome Grade 6 students from Wat Thung Latya School, who will participate in a full-day program designed to foster literacy, debating, public speaking, English proficiency, and artistic skills. A team of student volunteers from Thonburi University will join hands to facilitate the learning experience, making education both engaging and impactful.

With a strong commitment to youth development, Dr. Rattana Lao, a recipient of the Anandamahidol Foundation Award, has dedicated over 15 years to building meaningful educational opportunities. Her efforts, along with UNITE Thailand, have brought innovative learning programs to various provinces, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Kanchanaburi, and Rayong. The initiative has also led to successful projects like the First IDEA Asia Youth Forum, the Sapansiang Campaign to promote positive images of migrant workers, and multiple art and math camps across Thailand.

The 2025 Youth Camp will feature an interactive English session led by Dr. Rattana in the morning, followed by an Open House event where university students will mentor young participants. The day will conclude with a special session led by Phrakrusittikitjanuwat, the Abbot of Wat Thung Latya, offering insights into personal and social development.

This initiative is not just about learning—it’s about fostering volunteerism, sustainability, and community unity. With the guidance of a dedicated advisory team, including Dr. Bancha Kerdmanee (Thonburi University), Mr. Kuang-Meng Lao (OCB 1992 Co,.Ltd) and Mr. Prapand Singchong (Publicist), the camp continues to inspire young minds and nurture Thailand’s future leaders.
