BANGKOK, 20 July 2015 – The Meteorological Department has forecast that there will soon be more rain in Thailand.
With a monsoon trough moving across the North and the North East of the country and another gaining power in the Andaman Sea, more precipitation can be expected resulting in heavy rainfall in some areas.
Meanwhile sea conditions are not ideal at this time of year in the Andaman Sea off Phuket province and other lower coastal provinces. Fishermen are advised to take precautions when leaving the shore as waves could reach a height of 3 meters.
