A Soi LK Metro bar was raided last week, with its Australian owner arrested on immigration and prostitution charges.
Greg Johnston, 54, and his wife Yaonitta, 32, were taken into custody July 14 by Chonburi Immigration Police at their Billabong Bar in central Pattaya. Also arrested was Pikul Sroimee, 24, the bargirl caught in the sting operation facilitated by an undercover foreigner working for immigration.

The Johnstons were charged with running a brothel by having women from his adjacent Candy Bar to service customers at the Billabong. A foreigner allegedly set up the transaction with Pikul and called in police once money was exchanged. She was charged with working in prostitution.
Johnston was also charged with working illegally without a work permit.
