PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya and Jomtien continue to captivate foreign tourists with their vibrant atmosphere, stunning beachfront, and renowned seafood. This was evident on March 1, at Jomtien Beach in front of The Now Hotel, where the final day of the ‘Pattaya Squid Fair 2025’—themed Pirates’ Treasure Under The Sea—attracted a massive crowd of both Thai and international visitors.

The event, which featured over 50 seafood stalls offering fresh catches at special prices, provided tourists with an authentic Local Beach Food Experience, allowing them to enjoy freshly prepared seafood while taking in the picturesque coastal views. Many foreign visitors expressed their admiration for the lively yet relaxed ambiance of Jomtien Beach, with some noting that the combination of the ocean breeze, delicious seafood, and friendly atmosphere made Pattaya a destination they would love to revisit.

Apart from the food, the festival included live music performances, a squid fishing competition hosted by Jack’s Way, and a special Lucky Draw Treasure giveaway. The highlight of the evening was a musical performance by the popular artist Rit Samila, adding to the festive spirit.

Meanwhile, the overwhelming turnout at both the Pattaya Squid Fair and the Pattaya International Kite Festival resulted in heavy traffic congestion throughout Pattaya, including North Pattaya Road, Central Pattaya Road, South Pattaya Road, Sukhumvit Road, and Beach Road. Traffic moved at a slow pace from the afternoon until late evening, as thousands of tourists flocked to enjoy the twin festivals.

The Pattaya Business and Tourism Association (PBTA) expects such events to significantly boost tourism, aligning with the government’s initiative to promote eco-friendly and sustainable tourism in Chonburi. Local businesses also anticipate economic benefits, as increased tourist spending contributes to job creation and revenue growth in the region.

With its breathtaking coastal scenery, vibrant events, and world-class seafood, Pattaya and Jomtien continue to charm foreign visitors, further solidifying their reputation as top-tier beach destinations in Thailand.

Visitors from around the world enjoy a unique Local Beach Food Experience, indulging in delicious seafood while soaking in the breathtaking coastal views.
