
BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand has recently been recognized as the fifth among the best countries in the world for solo travel in 2025, according to a study conducted by Kensington, a luxury travel platform, in collaboration with Opinium Research and Dig Insight. The ranking is based on survey results from travelers in 2024. The list of the top five solo travel destinations in the world for 2025 includes India, Italy, Japan, Egypt, and Thailand.
Thailand remains a preferred destination thanks to its well-connected infrastructure, cultural richness, and reputation for safety. The country’s mix of ancient traditions, modern attractions, local cuisine, and warm hospitality attracts solo travelers.
The survey found that 76% of respondents planned to take solo international trips within three years, showing a rising demand for destinations suited to independent travelers. The ranking also reflects Thailand’s popularity among all travelers, with safety, culture, and convenience attracting solo tourists. (PRD)
