PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside

Tuesday, July 12, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford

First to Tuesday where we made the quick trip to Pattaya Country Club to find that the Sport Day had been discontinued, however Jenny from the club looked after the group, for which we were most appreciative.

Down to the 1st tee, and as we were early it looked like we may have a wait, but we moved over to the 10th and a smooth round ensued.  The course was in good condition and at the current promotional prices it represents decent value.

Ray Spence returns after another successful day on the golf course. Ray Spence returns after another successful day on the golf course.

The scores were not outstanding, with Jeff Wylie (7) playing from the Blue tees edging Ray Spence (16) from the Whites.  Clive making a return to golf after an extended lay-off showed enough to persevere, and it won’t be long before he is in the cash.

Thursday, July 14, Greenwood – Stableford

Thursday was a longer trip up 331 to Greenwood.  We missed this course on last month’s schedule, which in hindsight was probably a mistake.  The course is in outstanding condition, with the greens superb with a capital S.  I cannot comment on the upper echelon (price wise) of courses, but if they are better than Greenwood I would be surprised.

Following on from the PSC dinner the night before and other extenuating circumstances we did not have any comp today, but I for one am certainly glad I made the trip.

Note:  Mulligans Lakeside plays golf on Tuesday & Thursday, with presentation at the course Tuesday and Mulligans Lakeside hosting on Thursdays.  Call 089 094 1841 for scheduling or enquiries.  Hope to see you there, cheers & good golfing!
