Crown Prince looking for armless boy who attended Bike for Mom

BANGKOK, 7 September 2015 (NNT) – His Royal Highness the Crown Prince has ordered the search for an armless boy who previously attended the Bike for Mom event, an official says.

The Advisor to the Special Activity Subcommittee of Bike for Mom project, Suriyan Sucharitphonlawong, has revealed that HRH Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn has seen pictures from Bike for Mom event submitted by the public, and a picture from Seksan Saowarot shows the determination of a young 11-year old arm-less boy named Wattana Kamin or ‘Tham’.

The Bike for Mom Advisor has said that the Crown Prince has ordered officials to search for him, and has ordered his Personal Affairs Division to customize a bike that allows persons with no arms to ride it comfortably. Once completed, the bike will be royally bestowed to Tham at his hometown in Phitsanulok Province.

His Royal Highness said that the boy’s heart has the color of the Thai flag and the land, and should be respected, the Subcommittee Advisor says.

The picture of Tham has received an honourable mention during the photo contest of the Bike for Mom event, under the determination concept. All award winning images have been published at the Bike for Mom photo contest website.
