Local Lions bring relief supplies to Rayong village

Lions Club International District 310C prepared more than 1,000 bags of rice and dried food for flood victims in Rayong.

Pattaya mayoral advisor Worapoj Pongpalee gathered members of the club to Naklua’s Tung Aloy restaurant Sept. 18 to pack the bags of relief supplies for residents of Tabma village in Rayong Province.

In addition to rice and dried goods, the bags also contained drinking water, clothing, medicine, and consumer products to help flood victims get back on their feet.

Moreover, the club coordinated with Rayong’s local Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center to assist military and civilian organizations lend aide to the flood-stricken.
