BANGKOK, 8 October 2015 – The Minister of Tourism and Sports has granted financial rewards to athletes and coaches who competed at the international competition.
The Minister of Tourism and Sports Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul has chaired the reward granting ceremony for athletes, coaches, and sports associations that have taken part at international competitions, particularly at the 28th SEA games.
A sum of 178.5 million baht was rewarded to medal-winning participants of the international competition, including an extra 20 percent to the offer of the National Sports Development Fund.
Scholarships for 55 national athletes with outstanding achievements have also been granted at this event, providing financial support for their education courses at a sum of 3.18 million baht.
