Banglamung District officials continued their crackdown on shops and bars offering illegal shisha tobacco.
After closing down one Thai pub for operating after hours and serving underage customers Oct. 20, district officials and police swooped down on the Sith Lebanon store and restaurant on Soi 16 Pattaya around 3 a.m. The restaurant, still open, was serving Thais and Middle Eastern customers shisha.
The tobacco and pipes were seized and manager Thanate Petchsri, 46, arrested.

Officers then hit the B-Boy club on Third Road owned by 39-year-old Chaiyawat Sareebooth. He was arrested after shisha and equipment were seized there.
District officials said both outlets had been under scrutiny for a while.
