BANGKOK – The Department of Skill Development (DSD) is now providing free bicycle maintenance and repair services in preparation for the BIKE FOR DAD activity, DSD chief says.
The DSD Director-General Kreeta Sopchoak has said that his department is now providing the repair and maintenance services for bicycles to the general public, with no costs in all provinces nationwide, ahead of the BIKE FOR DAD activity.
He said that the service is intended as a contribution to the preparation of the BIKE FOR DAD event, celebrating the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 88th birthday 5 December 2015, as initiated by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
The BIKE FOR DAD activity will take place on 11 December 2015, while the public are encouraged to bring their bicycles for maintenance at the DSD’s provincial offices and institutes, from today until 10 December.
The DSD Director-General also added that interested individuals are encouraged to prepare their body and practice cycling before the actual activity commences.
