Marriott talent show raises 13,400 baht for needy school

The Pattaya Marriot Resort & Spa raised more than 13,000 baht for Tung Ra Harn School, with a hotel-wide talent contest where fans bought their favorite teams flower garlands.

Deputy General Manager Teeraphan Chierprasert hosted the Nov. 27 even which included nine teams from different hotel and spa departments. Four executive managers judged the show.

Winning teams, judges – in fact all participants gather for a bow on stage.

Audience members cheered on their favorites by buying flower garlands and balloons. The 13,400 baht in proceeds will go to buy learning equipment and host lunch to for Tung Ra Harn students Dec. 15.

The Sales & Marketing team took first place, winning 3,500 baht. The Explorer team was second, winning 2,500 baht, with the Front Desk taking the 2,000-baht third prize and the audience choice award going to Housekeeping for getting the most garlands.
