BANGKOK – Tens of thousands of people participated in the funeral procession of the late Supreme Patriarch, Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, along the route from Bovoranives temple to Debsirindravas temple.
People from all walks of life attended ceremonies at 48 temples in Bangkok and at temples in 877 districts across the country to symbolically offer cremation flowers to the funeral pyre of the late Supreme Patriarch.
The public will have the opportunity to pay their repects to his ashes from December 17 to December 19. Thereafter on December 20, the ashes will be enshrined at Tamnak Petch in Bovoranives temple.
