A new market aimed at the arts and creativity has opened on Second Road.
Indy Walking Street, near the Tiffany Theatre, opened Dec. 20, offering handmade crafts, artwork, creative items, and locally made products and services such as herbs, Thai massage, health food and tattoos.
Guitar legend Lam Morrison played at the grand opening and students from Sawang Boriboon Wittayakom School put on a traditional Thai dance performance.
The new market already has attracted attention from both tourists and locals and the operator was offering free rent to vendors until the end of the year.
