SURIN, 2 January 2015 (NNT) – The northeastern province of Surin is preparing to introduce a new tourist attraction early this year.

Academics and government officials have surveyed the location of Surin Floating Market which will be promoted as an ecotourism spot of the province. The new attraction is being built in a 32-acre field near Rajamangala University of Techonology Isan.

In the first phase of landscaping, sunn hem trees have been grown in the field so that they can blossom by February and make a photography location for Valentine’s Day. Sunn hem is a tropical plant of legume family and is known as a source of green manure.
