Crystal Bay’s C & A layouts were the challenge on Monday.  The course was in good shape with quickish greens but was got stuck behind a slow group of Western golfers in front and were forced to endure a round of 5 hours and 20 minutes.

We had two flights today with the cut at handicap 20 and a full bag of pins to shoot for.  Jan Ulriksen won the A Flight with a fine 41 points, four up on Don Richardson in second who was himself six points clear of Jesper Rasmussen in third.

Tore Eliassen topped the B Flight with 39 points while Susan Gaarde took second on 33 and Odd Holm-Hansen filled third spot a further two points back.

Thursday, Dec. 31, Pattaya C.C. – Stableford

2nd Mike Allidi (2) 33pts

3rd Doug Maiko (16) 32pts

B Flight (21+)

1st Dave Richardson (30) 32pts

2nd Karl Beter (30) 30pts 3rd Torben Sorensen (25) 28pts

Pattaya Country Club was the venue for the last game of the year.  Even though the course was busy we were off the first tee 25 minutes early and the condition of the layout was the best we have seen it yet, with the greens on the back nine improving every month.

We had a small field in two flights with the cut at handicap 20 and no near pins.  The scores were not very good with the white tees being placed back on the blue locations on a lot of the holes,

Patrice Bardy took the A Flight with 34 points, one ahead of Mike Allidi in second while Doug Maiko took third with 32.

Dave Richardson’s 32 points was enough to win the B Flight, with Karl Beter coming second on 30 and Torben Sorensen third with 28.
