Smart Job Center marks first anniversary

BANGKOK – Labor Minister Sirichai Ditthakul attended the first anniversary of a Smart Job Center fair which generated over 14,200 million baht in earnings to Thai employees. 

The event was held at Central Plaza Ladprao for the Smart Job Center which was designed to encourage workers to find domestic jobs and enhance Thailand’s economic fundamentals in the wake of the liberalization of the ASEAN Economic Community.

Thirty-two Smart Job Centers will open throughout the country in 2016 in addition to a dozen others which currently open in Bangkok, Nakorn Patom, Rayong, Chiang Mai, Nakorn Sawan, Nakorn Ratchasima, Sakon Nakorn, Songkhla (Hat Yai), Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and Satun.
