Anti-human traffic authorities in Prachuap Khiri Khan province have visited construction sites in the district as part of a crackdown on illegal labor.
The inter-agency task force inspected two housing estates and a car showroom late last month. All foreign workers were found to have foreign worker ID cards.
However, some workers were found to be underpaid. The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare has ordered their employers to comply with the labor laws and submit a report on staff remuneration.
