Pattaya Technical College has signed an agreement with 23 companies to help train students in new careers.
The agreement comes as Thailand struggles to keep up with international neighbors in training enough qualified technical professionals.
Wutisak said private companies can help in offering technical students more experience and skills development.
The mayor also presented awards to businesses in Pattaya, Laem Chabang, Sattahip and Sriracha who have worked with the college in the past.
