Very bad scoring here again on our weekly visit to Green Valley, I am not sure why as it was again a perfect day for golf and not too hot. The only one to play to his handicap was Frank McGowan who had thirty six points and won the B Flight. Ger Lodge and Theresa Connolly had the next best scores of the day with both on thirty five points but Theresa took the count back to come second and Ger was third.
We then had two players on thirty four points with Ted Murphy winning the count back for his first visit to the podium for this year and Dympna Burke having to settle for the fifth and last place.

In the A Flight the scoring was even worse with the winner not even having as much as the fifth in the B Flight. Michael Williams was the winner here with thirty three points and he won a count back over Paul Pavloff who took second place. Donal McGuigan was third with thirty one and David Wong with thirty points took the fourth place after beating Barry Power on count back.
We had three ‘2’s, with Joe Peters, Michael Williams and John McGarry having one each.
