An easy trip to start the week – just a 20 minute drive to Pattaya Country Club and after a swift check-in we were off the first tee 10 minutes early under sunny skies and with a nice breeze.

The course was in good shape although needing watering in some places but we had a lot of run on the ball as the scores reflect.
Two flights today with the cut at handicap 22 and Kenneth Madsen won the A Flight with a fine 39 points, two ahead of Arne Max Pedersen in second while Peter Bygeball took third with 35 points and Lotte Boskov and Hennig Olsen completed the podium in fourth and fifth.
Peter Hammond had his best score this winter to win the B Flight with a fine 43 points. Dave Richardson came in second with a commendable 40 points and Steen Habersaat was third with 38. Gordon Clegg edged fourth place on a count back from Ulla Ravn, both with level par rounds.

Up the 331 for 1 hour to take on the challenge of Pattavia and we teed off 10 minutes early under sunny skies once more. The course was in fine shape with some of the fastest greens around.
Richard Kubicki won the A flight with a fine 38 points, two up on Henning Olsen in second while Brian Gabe secured third with 34 points and Lotte Boskov was fourth a further two in arrears.
Ronnie Ratte took the B Flight honours with a whopping 44 points while Gordon Clegg could only boast of second place despite shooting a 40-pointer himself. Eddie Glinsek slipped into third on count backs from Elias Magnusson and Peter Hammond, all with 35 points.
