An out-of-control big rig slammed into a home in Naklua, demolishing the yard and damaging the house.
Weerasak Khunchanmok, 30, did not explain to police how the accident on Soi Wattungkard in Banglamung’s Moo 8 village occurred.
The Rayong-registered 18-wheeler was hauling a 21-ton container of plastic beads when it rammed through the fence of homeowner Somnuk Chayakul. Trees and a spirit house were destroyed and the trailer slammed into the house. A damage estimate was not available.
The 47-year-old homeowner complained that heavy trucks rumble through his neighborhood 24 hours a day and have caused repeated road damage.
