Poseidon Big Bike in cooperation with 26 other motorcycle clubs in the eastern region raised money to sponsor educational scholarships for the poor at an auction in Pattaya.
Poseidon President Ongard Sanpanthamith hosted the March 26 charity event at Mini Siam for more than 1,000 bikers to raise funds for constructing a new building and stocking it with supplies at Sampantarachutid School in Muang District of Chaiyaphum.
Generous bikers contribute funds to help school children.
The primary school with 163 students has eight unfinished classrooms on which work was stopped due to a lack of government funding.
The bikers auctioned off clothing, accessories and a classic Suzuki K 125 donated by the Hot Iron club, which was auctioned off for 60,000 baht.
With fair booths and events, the bikers raised more than 100,000 baht for the Issan school.
