The Mercy Center, Pattaya International Ladies Club and Jesters Care For Kids joined hands to donate funds to support a boy diagnosed with cancer.

Nongprue Deputy Mayor Eneak Pattana-ngam greeted organization representatives Lhen Lhen Mortela, Liz Shepherd, Bernie Tuppin and Lewis Underwood at the sub-district’s municipal hall April 5 to receive the donation of 20,000 baht for 6-year-old Thanatip Saethang.

The boy has to go for checkups at Chonburi Hospital at least every three months. The charities pooled their efforts to raise money for his medical bills and daily expenses.

Lewis Underwood (left), chairman of the Jesters Care For Kids, along with charity chairman Bernie Tuppin (2nd left) join with 2 other charitable organizations to financially help cancer patient Thanatip Saethang and his mother with treatments, joined by Liz Shepherd from the Mercy Center, Nongprue Deputy Mayor Eneak Pattana-ngam, and Nongprue councilors.

Thanatip and family were very grateful, thanking all those involved. His mother added that it was unfortunate that Thanatip was born into the world with cancer and it couldn’t be helped, and all he wishes is to be like other normal kids and live a happy life.

His parents are not well-off, so they work hard to support their son and hope he will see better days.
