Last Saturday 17 students from the Radicals activity group at St Andrews International School Green Valley Rayong attended the SASS drama festival held at St Andrews 107 campus. There were four participating schools, three from the St Andrews group and Patana.
The students took part in workshops to create a scene from the wonderful story “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. They worked in mixed groups with students from other schools and made new friends as well as improvising scenes from the story, creating props and assembling costumes. In addition, they learnt a song with actions to sing as a finale at the end of the performance.
A lot of fun was had by all students.
A lot of fun was had by all of the students involved and parents were able to watch the final performance that took only one day to create! Prizes were given for individual and group achievements. Our very own Gryffin Laker won the prize for best comedy moment as Augustus Gloop falling into the chocolate river and being sucked up into the shoot.
