BANGKOK – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan have instructed police chief Pol. Gen. Chakthip Chaichinda to closely monitor investigation into an alleged assault on three British tourists in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
Deputy police spokesman Krissana Pattanacharoen disclosed that arrest warrants have been issued for four accused assailants as shown in a video clip. The last one was arrested on April 27.
The four men were charged with perpetrating the attack and causing severe bodily harms which could possibly lead to a maximum of 10 years in prison.
The premier instructed the authorities to strictly and resolutely enforce the law and prosecute every suspected assailant.
