BANGKOK – Prime Minister’s Office Spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd disclosed that the Office of Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) has found suspicious evidence which could indicate corruption in the project for filling artesian wells.
Evidence linking to corruption that was identified by the PACC dates during 2009-2014, which is before the National Council for Peace and Order’s government.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed the PACC to carefully identify the witnesses and collect all crucial evidence, stating that government officials found guilty of corruption will face strict punishment.
The Prime Minister’s Office spokesman said that the Prime Minister asked government officials from all agencies to focus on serving the nation and the general public without acts of corruption.
