The National Anti-Corruption Commission held a seminar on the participation of civil society in preventing and combating corruption practices in Chonburi.
Pracha Taerat, former provincial governor and current advisor to the NACC Network for Civil Society, chaired the March 3 workshop at Chonlaraj Amrung School in Muang District with Gov. Khomsan Ekachai.
The network and the Anti-Corruption Institute of Thammasat University organized the seminar to enhance and build knowledge and understanding to solve and relieve corruption issues, in line with government policy.

The government consistently has tried to raise awareness of corruption on the national agenda. In the morning session, Sangsith Piriyarangsarn, Rosana Tositrakul, Sayumporn Limthai and Wasant Paileeklee all spoke on the topic.
In the afternoon, representatives of 11 Chonburi districts broke into small-group discussions about public participation and surveillance of corruption and misconduct in the government.
