The Backyard Golf Society
We had a good turnout last week for the Backyard Golf Society’s trip to Emerald Golf Course on December 2. Ten players with nine in all competitions but with the scores surprisingly low it made for a very competitive round of golf.
With JJ not having won for a few weeks it was about time he stepped up, and much to the Chairman’s disappointment this was the week. All tied at the end of the round on 32 points, JJ beat ‘Broken Wing’ on the 19 to 17 count back and also took (8) skins.

Nearest the pin went to Neville and the remaining skin results were as follows: Neville (4), Andy C (3), Micky (1), Dan M (1) and Broken Wing (1).
Finally just as a reminder to all members, we make our own rules and what good are they if we do not, as a group, all stand by them. So let’s have a bit of unity and enjoy ourselves on our weekly get together.
