Two flights on Wednesday at the groups home course of Green Valley. The scoring was good, especially in the A Flight were Phonsie McGahan returned a superb 43 points to take the win ahead of Brian Orr, who himself came in with a great 41 point return. Mark William was third with a ‘meager’ 38 points.
In the B Flight Kevin Hamilton came out on top with a 39 point haul to finish one better than Tom Breslin in second and two up on Steven Phillips in third. Steven had the consolation of recording the only birdie ‘2’ of the day.

1st Ted Gardner (6) 39pts
2nd Doug Crowe (8) 39pts
3rd Emmet White (10) 38pts
B Flight
1st Olly (22) 40pts
2nd Bruce Tollitt (19) 35pts
3rd Dave Bramley (18) 35pts
The good scores continued at always tough Crystal Bay on Friday with Olly top scoring on 40 points to claim the B Flight honours ahead of Bruce Tollitt and Dave Bramley; Bruce getting the better of the count back in the battle for second place.
Ted Gardner meanwhile took out the A Flight with a fine 39 points off his 6 handicap to just edge Doug Crowe on another count back, and Emmet White completed the podium a further point behind.
Doug Crowe, Mark William, Jim McGovern and Brian Orr shared the ‘2’s pot between them.
