More than 600 Royal Thai Navy officers and enlisted men began the first battalion tactical training of the year, honing skills on anti-aircraft artillery.

The regularly scheduled war games focus on training, education and development of firearms. Participating were 48 officers, 469 non-commissioned officers and 160 conscripts. Training was done on weapons including 40/70 mm, 40/60 mm, and 37mm anti-aircraft guns as well as Flycatcher and QW control systems.

Scenarios covered included fire suppression, resolution of terrorist situations and sabotage.
